# W-2300The design of our "Safety" Step-Stool was born from my childhood days. Between the ages of 1-1/2 to 4-1/2 years old, I traveled by train from our hometown in Redford Township, Michigan (Detroit), to Bremerton, Washington, (on Puget Sound), a US Naval Shipyard and Base. We traversed the rails every 6 weeks to and from where my father was stationed in the Navy during the 2nd World War. While on the train, as you boarded and deboarded the train, you stepped on a wooden step-stool that was as safe as ever. It never tipped, and held the weight. Later in my childhood, I then saw this similar, but different, shaped step-stool again, while at the circus watching the Elephant Act. The elephants were standing on them with all their weight. A light bulb didn't go on in my head until I had a request to design a special, very safe step-stool, for a VIP Section at the Indianapolis 500 Race Track viewing stand. In our design, I made it to basically accommodate the young children and then added the heart cutouts to dress it up for the moms. Now, we find as many, (if not more), moms using the step-stool for her activities around the house. Whereas the child needs the Wooden "Safety" Step-Stool for the bathroom, kitchen, playroom or bedroom. There is a handle slot in the top for easy pick-up and to move it around. The lid size is 11" x 11" and the overall size is 12" x 12" and 7-1/2" tall. THE PUZZLE-MAN TOYS
